About Us

Sports Travel Group is a luxury sector B2C and B2B golf tour operator and event organiser trading as Golf Traveller. Our three founders have long histories in golf travel, hospitality and events and are seeking to change the way golf travel is presented and consumed. Our global client portfolio includes elite private clubs, leisure and golf tour operators, agents and concierge providers, HNW individuals, private family offices and corporate entities invested in golf. 

Our offices are in London, St Andrews, Stockholm, Oslo and Singapore. We have ambitious plans for further growth and are looking for people with the same ambition to help us achieve them.

 

Job Brief

 

This role is aimed at supporting our Product function in efficiently translating customers’ briefs into market-leading itineraries. Key duties will include: acquiring and storing wholesale contracts with global suppliers; data entry; confirming availability for proposed itineraries; assisting in document preparation; and, supporting Marketing and Sales colleagues. Prior experience in a commercial environment is expected and an interest in golf is a plus. A professional approach plus great communication skills both in person and digitally are expected, as is the desire to learn, develop and make a genuine contribution to a small but growing team.

Salary

Salary: £22,000 - £26,000 per annum, experience dependent

Hours

Full time / 40 hours per week

Additional

  • Workplace pension scheme (from 3 months)

  • 25 days paid holiday per annum

  • Reports to: Operations Director

  • Eligibility for company wide bonus and incentive schemes

Responsibilities

 
  • Procurement via existing and new suppliers

  • Acquisition and collation of marketing assets from suppliers and tourist boards

  • Support for the sales department across all account types

  • Documenting and storing contracts and information

Requirements

 
 
  • Previous work experience, ideally in the travel industry

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work autonomously when required
